Where adjacent Cavicloaks and Cavilengths are required to join, a tape is necessary to achieve a continuous linking between tray lengths. Our Single side or double side adhesive tape can be used to affect a seal. Our Single side adhesive tape (see Edge Tape option) are supplied in 30 metre rolls 100mm wide. The Double side adhesive tape (see Double Tape option) are supplied in 15 metre rolls 50mm wide.
Ensuring all surfaces are clean and dry, adjacent tray profiles should be lapped a minimum of 150mm. The 100mm wide Edge Tape is then applied to straddle the join in the overlapped tray profiles.
The Edge Tape has a bonded blue HDPE upper surface under which is a compound adhesive layer that contours and adheres to the lapped surfaces.
